State-of-the-Art Technology

    With today's digital video technology,  video communications is truly affordable.  Dramatic leaps in miniaturization has given us small, high-quality camcorders using digital videotape formats like Mini-DV, DVCam and DVC-PRO.  The ability to edit these digital formats has also pushed the envelope -- and allowed budgets and costs to drop considerably.  

How easy is it?

    ...it's really easy! 1, 2, 3, 4 -- and you're out the door (or on the Web) !

Pre-Production

    It starts with planning -- we will sit down and map out your message, goals and intended audience.  We will discuss all the production elements, timeline, distribution channels and budget considerations.  Together, we will plan out your project and write your script.

Production

    Once your script is complete, we will move into the actual shooting of your project.  nolanvision has all the tools -- Sony 3-chip DVCam camcorder w/wide angle lens, lights & gels, sound and monitoring equipment, and a whole slew of other helpful little gadgets that make you look GREAT.      

Post-Production

    After all the video has been shot, the raw footage will be logged and edited to the script.  nolanvision edits on an Avid Xpress DV non-linear system running on a Windows 2000 platform.  Avid is known throughout the world as the leader in computer-based editing.

Distribution

    At this final stage, we will release your message on VHS videotape, CD-ROM, DVD and/or the Internet.
